Here is our October Newsletter( Double click on the picture to make it bigger)

We have arrived In Liberia safely. The journey was enjoyable. On our way to Liberia we had to go thru Brussels, So we stayed a few days there. It was definitely a good idea. By stopping our longest time spent in planes and airports was only 24 hrs instead of 30 hrs.

We left the IOC in Texas at 5:45am and then flew from Tyler to Dallas to Chicago to Brussels. From the airport we took a train into the city and walked to our hostel. We arrived there at 9am Sunday. The rest of the day, and the next, we explored the city. We visited many cathedrals with lots of stained glass and tons of statues. One even had the signs of the Zodiac on the floor(still not sure why). I was amazed at the differance in maintinance levels of the different buildings. Some were ornate while the buildings next to it would be a run down shacks.

While in brussels we decided to take the train to Brugge. It was a very beatuiful city similiar to venice with all the canals and narrow streets.
