We have been enjoying our past month here in Garden Valley, Tx. The first three weeks were filled with classes from 8-5. Some of the topics included spiritual warfare, world views, character of God, cross cultural sensitivity and biblical principles, to name a few.
One saturday we spent the day at Tyler State Park having a day of silence and reflection. it was nice but not very silent there were many girlscouts canoeing around.
And yesterday was firefighting 101. We actually went into a live fire and put it out. Of course we were wearing our SCBA for safety...
We will be finishing out this week with some more of Basic Safety Training. And then next week will be heading to Liberia.
